I've only ordered breakfast here, and I have nothing negative to say about the food (and I am very picky). Nice atmosphere, small place, good prices. The food does take a while though.

The dining room is very small with too many tables shoved into it. My husband and I couldn't even have a conversation because it was like sitting with 15 people at one table and everyone was talking at once. My omelet had absolutely no taste - perhaps they should have seasoned the potatoes that were inside. Waitress was not friendly.

Ok, so really nothing fancy about this place but if you like good food at a very reasonable price this is worth a try.

This restaurant isn't anything to go out of your way for, but there isn't anything wrong with it either. Decent food.

A while ago my husband and I heard great reviews for this place on T102 and later we heard from others that the place although quaint was actually pretty good. Stepping inside is like stepping back into time. Wow! Saturday late afternoon and the place was totally empty. This is when we should have used our instincts and promptly turned around and left! We had the soup, some cream type. It was OK but definitely not thee best. My husband ordered the pork chops and I ordered the fried chicken. My husband's dinner came out and I was so overwhelmed with shock and disbelief, it literally left my mouth gaping open. His pork chops (2) were thin and dried out....dried out to the point that there wasn't an ounce of moisture left in them. To make matters worse they very liberally doused them in some sort of out of the bottle McCormack's seasoning. My fried chicken was....how to describe disgusting! Huge chunks of fat under the skin, dripping greasy. YUCK! Dear God....just what was that awful taste. We decided to ask for our check immediately. Do you want boxes? God NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We paid and once again noticed that the place was still empty. Everyone has their opinions but we will DEFINITELY NOT be back to Luckenbill's. This place is truly a board of health hazard waiting to happen!
